TASTING NOTES
Our Malbec captivates with its deep ruby hue and rich extraction. The aromatic profile bursts with wild mulberry, purple violets, ripe plums, and warm baking spices. On the palate, it is smooth and approachable, offering luscious red raspberry and bright red fruit notes. Balanced acidity and refined, chalky tannins enhance its versatility, making it an excellent companion for a variety of dishes.
PRODUCTION NOTES
Our Malbec was sourced from our Coble Ranch vineyard in Winters, CA. After small lot fermentation, the wine was pressed and aged in once-used French oak for approximately 10 months before being bottled. Due to the complexity of flavors imparted by the three Malbec clones planted on our vineyard, this wine contains the concentrated flavors and tannin profile typical of French Malbecs, as well as the spice and ripe fruit characteristics of their Argentinian counterparts.
