Our Barbera entices with a bouquet that harmoniously combines earthy spices and delicate red fruit with hints of mulberry. Displaying a medium-bodied presence, this wine unveils nuanced spices and red fruit flavors on the palate, culminating in a satisfyingly vibrant acidity on the finish. Approachable and inviting, this wine's versatility seamlessly complements a variety of dishes. For an optimal experience, allow the wine to decant for 30 minutes. This wine can gracefully mature in your cellar for up to 5 years, evolving in character and depth over time.
PRODUCTION NOTES
Our Barbera is a handful of rows tucked into the middle of our larger Tempranillo block. The Barbera is situated at the highest point of the Coble Ranch Vineyard. The Barbera was one of the first lots to come in this year. Machine picked and processed on our optical sorter, the grapes were fermented in one-ton fermenter and punched down twice daily for gentle extraction. Our Barbera was aged in once-used French oak barrels.
