TASTING NOTES Our Zinfandel shimmers with a luminous ruby hue, inviting you in with a vivid bouquet of black cherry, white spice, and a bright hint of kumquat zest. The first sip reveals earthy undertones—wet clay, forest floor, and a sense of place that feels both grounded and alive. Lush, ripe Bing cherry and sun-drenched plum unfold across the palate, supported by a supple tannic backbone that brings structure without overshadowing the fruit. Elegant, layered, and enduring, this is a Zinfandel with both soul and staying power.
PRODUCTION NOTES Our Zinfandel grapes were harvested in two picks for our three blocks. The grapes were grown on our estate Coble Ranch Vineyard, located in Winters, CA. We use the heritage Primitivo Clone in our Zinfandel block, which produces a lighter, more refined fruit profile than its counterparts. After the grapes were harvested and sorted then were fermented in small lots, then pressed in our traditional basket press. Once pressed, the wine was aged for 19 months in twice used French Oak barrels.
